JUCO Lands In The Big Apple

Grady Reynolds, a 6-7, 215 pound power forward from Southern Union State College in Wadley, Ala., committed to St. John's. He had taken a visit to the Queens campus this past weekend, according to the coaching staff at Southern Union State.
Reynolds had also shown interest in Mississippi too. Reynolds had drawn heavy interest this winter from a number of Division I programs. Reynolds had already visited San Francisco, Southern Mississippi and UAB.

Reynolds averaged roughly 17 points and nine rebounds per game for the Bison.
"Grady is a very versatile player," Southern Union Head Coach Ron Radford said. "He needs to be more consistent, but he can be a dominating player."
Radford previously said that St. John's, Ole Miss, Alabama, UAB, Auburn, New Mexico, Kansas State and St. Bonaventure had expressed an interest in Reynolds this season.
A native of Abbeville, Ala., Reynolds will need seven hours in the summer to graduate, Radford said.
