Joseph Takes Trip To ACC School

The list of schools interested in one of the better wing players from the 2004 class continues to expand. Notre Dame, East Carolina, and Michigan State are the latest entries in the race for Adrian Joseph. According to Brewster Academy head coach Jason Smith, this is recent interest.
"Villanova, St. Joe's, Virginia, Georgia, Vanderbilt, Maryland are all on Adrian's list," Smith said. "Notre Dame, Michigan, State, East Carolina want to get involved too."

Joseph, the graceful 6-foot-7 forward who played this past season at Bergen Catholic High School in New Jersey, has been resting a slightly injured knee. Joseph only played in a couple of games last weekend at the Rumble in the Bronx. He is expected to compete at the ABCD camp. "There are a lot of more schools wanting to get involved," Smith said. "I think how it goes on who gets involved will depend upon how he does at the ABCD camp."
The ADIDAS ABCD camp starts a few days after the July 4th holiday. It is supposed to run from July 8th through the 11th. This site will have complete coverage of the event.
Joseph, who has already taken an unofficial visit to Villanova, is a top 100 type of player because he is very active on both ends of the court. It's likely that when the summer concludes Joseph will receive consideration for the Rivals150 if he has a great month of July.
Joseph is an active offensive player. Joseph can play above the rim and also shoot the jumper. Joseph also has decent quickness and is always involved in steals. "He's still open," Smith said. "I don't know when he might make his decision."
Joseph, who arrived at Bergen Catholic last fall from Trinidad, is a senior in terms of basketball eligibility. Joseph also plays for one of the country's top AAU programs in the New York Elite. "He took a visit to Virginia this past weekend," Smith said. "He enjoyed the visit. He liked the way the campus looked. They are one of his top schools."
