Joseph Still Weighing Options

One of Canada’s top prospects, Maurice Joseph, could be close to taking his name off the board. The 6-foot-5, 180-pound shooting guard from the Champlain School in St. Lambert (Que.) is still looking at three high major schools and could have a decision by the weekend, according to his head coach John Dangelas.
Joseph, the No. 138 ranked player in the class of 2005 by Rivals.com, recently visited several schools and is in the process of deciding on a future school. He is contemplating between Michigan State, NC State and Ohio State. Dangelas says his player is still deciding on where to go.

“It’s a big decision and he doesn’t want to commit and go to somewhere he isn’t comfortable,” Dangelas said. “He’s looking at the pluses and minuses of everything. Right now, he’s just weighing his options.”
So when is decision day?
“If it’s not Friday, it could a while after that,” Dangelas said.
Joseph is a solid scorer and handles the ball well on the wing. He can defend nicely with his long wingspan. As a point guard, which he can play with little problem, he sees the floor extremely well and, like most top prospects, he is a very capable athlete.
