Jordan Walker Has Some Fine Performances

Jordan Walker, a sweet shooting 6-7, 215 pound power forward from L.A. Valley C.C. in California, turned in some fine performances at this past weekend's 2001 California Fall JUCO Showcase.
Walker is a high post forward who has legitimate range out to 17 feet. Blessed with broad shoulders and a solid frame, he is very good at bringing opposing forwards out to the perimeter because of his shooting ability. Because you have to respect Walker's outside shot, he often opens up the middle for his teammates to drive the lane.

Cal State Northridge, Montana and Montana State, as well as a host of other Big Sky programs, are pursuing Walker this fall, according to L.A. Valley Head Coach Doug Michelson.
A native of Fontana, Calif., Walker is a 50/50 graduation proposition, according to Coach Michelson. He might be able to graduate by the summer.
