Jordan Farmar Will Be A Bruin

Jordan Farmar, a 6-foot-2, 170-pound point guard from Taft High School in Woodland Hills, California has made a decision about his future. The talented floor general has decided to stay close to home and play for the UCLA Bruins.
“Yep, I’ve decided to attend UCLA,” Farmar told RivalsHoops.com. “I’m very excited about this decision. UCLA is a great school. I’m just glad that I’ve made the decision.

“I picked the Bruins because of the degree I’m going to pursue, because of the networking and because of the contacts I’ll make while I attend UCLA, but right now I’m just going to relax,” he added. I pretty much decided before I left for the Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions. I spoke with my family before I left and I spoke with them when I got back.”
You can bet that the UCLA Bruins are getting a fine player. Farmar participated in the Bob Gibbons TOC this past weekend and had a great showing.
“Winning the Bob Gibbons Tournament of Champions was a great experience,” he said. “The title was great, but so was being awarded the Most Outstanding Player.”
New UCLA coach Ben Howland is already having a positive impact on the program. He received commitments from two of the better guards in the class of 2004. Aside from Farmar, Arron Afflao has also given a commitment to the Bruins.
