The 2008 Jordan Brand All-American team was announced on Thursday evening. Twenty one players were announced for the April 19 game at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
The roster has a familiar feel to it. Nearly all of the players on the roster will also be playing in the McDonald's All-American game. Of the 21 Jordan Brand All-Americans selections, 17 will also play on March 26 in Milwaukee.
Indiana-bound forward Devin Ebanks got the call for the Jordan game, along with UCLA signee Drew Gordon and Wake Forest pledge Tony Woods.
Ebanks, the No. 13 ranked player in the class of 2008, will return to his native New York. Woods, the No. 18 ranked player in the senior class, will suit up with his good friend and future Wake Forest teammate Al-Farouq Aminu.
Gordon, the No. 49 ranked player in the class of 2008, will join future UCLA teammates Jrue Holiday and Malcolm Lee. The Bruins boast the most future players in the game with three.
