The 6-foot-6 small forward from Radnor (Pennsylvania) Archbishop Carroll who ranks No. 42 in the class of 2015 announced on ESPNU that he will be heading
west to play his college ball at UNLV.
"I'm going to take my talents to UNLV," said Jones. "When I went up there on my visit I just stepped on campus and everything with me and my coaches is about family and when I stepped on campus I just felt like it was a family and I got to know all the basketball players and it felt like a brotherhood."
In Jones, Dave Rice and the Rebels are getting one of the most athletic wings in the class of 2015.
Blessed with a tremendous first step, quickness and length, Jones is finisher on the break and has the tools to develop into a very good defender. In many ways, he is quite similar to former Rebels star -- and current assistant coach -- Stacey Augmon. He just isn't quite as big.
Jones is the second player to pick UNLV from the class of 2015. He joins four-star point guard Jalen Poyser.
