Jonathan Bluitt Leaves Prep School

Jonathan Bluitt, a slick 5-7, 165 pound point guard from Bridgton Academy in Maine, has left the prep school and returned home due to personal reasons.
Bluitt, who committed to Oral Roberts after spending his high school time at Bishop McGuiness H.S. in Oklahoma City, Okla., still remains committed there.

Bluitt had first made his commitment to Oral Roberts last year. Then he did not qualify academically on the test. Bluitt first thought about going to Kilgore JC in Texas but then made the move to Bridgton Academy in Maine. He spent a half year under head coach Whit Lesure.
Bluitt has excellent quickness and is a slick ball handler who can break the press. He is also a sticky man to man defender.
Bluitt thought has not yet qualified on the test score and must achieve that goal to be eligible academically.
Bluitt was the sparkplug in the backcourt for the Athletes First program out of Oklahoma, which made deep runs this past summer at both the adidas Big Time Tournament and Nike Super Showcase a couple of years ago.
