Johnson Will Decide This Weekend

Bridgton Academy head coach Whit Lesure told RivalsHoops.com today that Connecticut, Cincinnati, and Florida State will have to wait until this weekend for offensive forward, Alexander Johnson's decision. "I just spoke to him," Lesure told RivalsHoops.com on Tuesday afternoon. "He told me he will go home, talk to his family, and then sign his letter."
Is there a leader? "He told me he didn't have a leader," Johnson said. "So all the schools are still being considered. As I have said before, it's a very tough and difficult decision. They are all great schools. Alexander would do well at any of them."

Johnson, rated the 16th best player in the 2003 class, has taken official visits to Connecticut, Cincinnati and Florida State. RivalsHoops.com spoke to Johnson each time after his visit. He loved all three of them. "This is why he is having such a hard time," Lesure said. "But it's an important decision. He should take his time. Anyone should take their time and think out such a tough decision."
Johnson is so valued by these programs because he can help provide immediate impact along the frontline. Johnson also seem to thrive under Lesure at Bridgton. He was very confident as the year went on and improved his overall game at Bridgton.
