Johnson weighing options

Known as the consummate set up man, 2006 point guard prospect Brian Johnson of the Winchendon School and originally from Baltimore, Md., is presently considering five quality mid-major programs.
"I'm just weighing my options right now and see what is the best fit for me," said Johnson, 5-foot-11, 180-pounds. "Santa Barbara and Wisconsin-Green Bay have offered. I'm also looking at UNC-Wilmington, Marist and Central Connecticut, which is where my dad played."

Averaging around 7 points and 7 rebounds per game for Winchendon, which finished 19-13, knows how to distribute the ball.
"The best thing I do is handle the ball and control the game," he said. "I don't turn the ball over and that's the most important thing for a point guard. I get the ball to people in the right position so they can make shots.
"I need to improve my confidence in making the outside jumper. I also want to increase my upper body strength."
On a three week break from school, Johnson said he would decide what schools to visit once he gets back to school.
