Johnson settles on Big East school

Four-star prospect Tyrone Johnson of Plainfield (N.J.) High School knew he was headed to the Big East. Now he knows exactly what school it will be in the Big East.
Villanova is the winner over Georgetown and Rutgers for the 6-foot-3, 185-pound point guard.

"Villanova is a really good fit for me and my family," said Johnson. "The style of play fits me well. It was something I wanted to pursue."
Johnson, the No. 50-ranked prospect in the Rivals150, is excited about playing in the guard oriented attack of Coach Jay Wright.
"I think the program can help take my game to the next level," he said.
Johnson joins Rivals150 prospect and three-star shooting guard Achraf Yacoubou as the second Villanova recruit in the 2011 class.
During his junior season, Johnson averaged 22 points, eight assists and five rebounds per game.
