Johnson Set For Friday Trip

Bridgton Academy head coach Whit Lesure told RivalsHoops.com Wednesday night that Alexander Johnson had a good visit with Connecticut head coach Jim Calhoun. "Alexander liked the visit," Lesure said. "Alexander is now going to visit Connecticut this Friday."
Lesure stated that Alexander, a top 25 player in the 2003 class, hasn't made a decision yet and has no leader right now.

But a report today in an Albany, Georgia newspaper did quote Johnson as saying he was looking at two schools -- Florida State and Cincinnati. Lesure would not comment on the report. He only stated: "Alexander has another trip to take. He will visit Connecticut on Friday."
Indiana has also been mentioned in the past by Johnson but aren't listed among his top two, according to the report. Johnson is possibly the best remaining player left in the 2003 class that can make an immediate impact for a college or university in the 2003-2004 season.
