Johnson Johnson On Display

Tommy Herrion strikes again. The new head coach of the College of Charleston landed one of the top remaining forwards in 2002 in Zeke Johnson, a 6-8 forward from Palm Beach C.C. in Lake Worth, Florida. Herrion, who polished his recruiting skills as an assistant under Virginia head coach Pete Gillen, also landed talented Marcus Johnson last week. (You can see Marcus' profile in our database).
Zeke Johnson last visited the College of Charleston. He was getting late interest from Memphis, Connecticut, and West Virginia. He also previously took official visits to Delaware and Towson.

Johnson had a visit scheduled for Memphis (May 3-5). But this visit never took place. Then schools like Connecticut and West Virginia inquired.
Johnson transferred into Palm Beach after spending his freshman season at the University of New Mexico. He will have two years of eligibility remaining at the Division I level next fall.
It was only last week that Charleston landed another Johnson, Marcus, who is also considered a high division one player.
