Johnson high on four

Stoneridge Prep point guard Angelo Johnson has trimmed his list to four and it could get even shorter in the near future. The 5-foot-10 junior is hoping to make a few visits and then wind things down.
Johnson, a Minnesota native, said he is down to Cincinnati (offer), Arizona, Tennessee (offer) and Connecticut.

"Me and my coaches were talking it over and decided that is who I should really look at," Johnson said. "They have my style of play and they push the ball a lot in all of those programs and that is what I want to play in."
The Bearcats and the Volunteers both had coaches on the sidelines over the weekend as Johnson played at the Flyin' to the Hoop Invitational in Dayton, Ohio.
With four finalists in his mind, Johnson said he is comfortable enough to possibly make a decision before the season finishes at Stoneridge.
"I am getting close," Johnson said. "I'm trying to see who it is going to be. I'm talking to my family about that and trying to find that answer."
His checklist is simple.
"Academically, can they help me? I want to see if I'm in a great situation with the school and with the team and whether or not I can play right away and at what position," Johnson said. "That's what I'm looking for."
