Johnson Has Trip Scheduled

Craig Johnson, 6-6 1/2, 192 pound point guard from Crockett (TX) High School, has an official visit scheduled for next month.
"Liberty called and wants me to visit on the weekend of November 2nd & 3rd," said Johnson. "I'll be going along with Lance Jackson (a 6-2 shooting guard from Fort Worth Dunbar)."

"I have a couple favorites but don't really want to talk about that now," he noted. "Baylor, Youngstown State, Stephen F. Austin and Utah are my other schools along with Liberty."
Johnson said he's waiting for his test scores from the SAT he took earlier this month. "I've signed up for both the ACT and the December SAT," he added.
Johnson averaged 14 points, five rebounds, and seven assists per game last season and was named the newcomer of the year in his conference. He is a lefty, a decent ballhandler and likes to take the ball to the hoop.
Johnson, who is planning on an English literature major, said he'll make a college decision in the spring. "Distance won't be a factor," he said. "My family agrees that whatever is the best situation for me is fine." Johnson's step-father told us earlier he's hoping Craig will stay in Texas.
