Johnson Fields Interest
Darren Johnson, a hard-working 6'6'' 230 lb power forward from Lincoln High School in Yonkers, New York, is a sleeper in the New York City area who hasn't gotten much recogntion.
Johnson has fielded interest from Buffalo, Maine, and Iona. Buffalo assistant Mike Menninger recently trekked to Westchester County to get a closer look at Darren.

Johnson competed this summer with The CAS Warriors, based in New York City and coached by Fred Benjamin and Nick Blatchford. Darren trekked west with The Warriors on trips to Vegas and The Best of Summer Tournament, and was also a regular on the camp circuit in the Northeast.
Darren's recruitment likely hinges on how his academic year pans out. He has fielded some serious interest, according to Blatchford, but schools are waiting to see how his transcript shapes up. The SAT score will be the key for Darren.
