Johnson Busy Visiting With Coaches

Now that Jerome Johnson has settled in at the IMG Basketball Academy in Bradenton, Florida, he is quite busy meeting with college coaches.
The 6-foot-8, 220-pound power forward has already had in-school visits with Pittsburgh, Clemson, South Alabama, Penn State, and Nebraska.

Providence, George Mason, James Madison, and Old Dominion will all be coming to Bradenton, Florida in the next two weeks.
According to Johnson’s father, Kermit Carter, Pittsburgh, Clemson, South Alabama, and Nebraska have offered scholarships to Johnson. The four schools visiting in the next couple weeks are all expected to make offers on their visits.
“He is looking at everybody coming out to see him,” said Carter. “In October we’ll start doing our business and decide who we should visit. We would like to get the visits in before the early signing period, but if our schedule does not allow us to get them in, he will wait and sign late.”
Penn State and Kent State are two schools still tracking Johnson but are not expected to make offers before the early signing period.
