Johnnie Jackson Set To Decide

One of the better wing players available this spring, Johnnie Jackson of Fairley H.S. in Memphis, Tenn., is mulling a decision tonight. He is likely to choose between Boston College and UAB, the only schools he visited on his list. "I am also considering Massachusetts and Providence," Jackson said. "But I didn't visit them."
Jackson, a 6-5, 190 pound swingman, had UAB Head Coach Mike Anderson in his home on Apr. 16.

As for Boston College, Jackson said that the Eagles [in addition to the Blazers] have offered a scholarship. He visited B.C. the weekend of Apr. 26-28. "I really liked that visit a lot," said Jackson, perhaps showing us where he is headed.
Jackson averaged 23 points and eight rebounds per game as a senior, earning all-state and all-city acclaim for his efforts.
We'll keep you posted on Jackson's situation. "I pretty much have my decision," Jackson said. "I already told the coaches."
