John Zito Worth A Look For Some

John Zito, a 6-5, 190 pound small forward from St. Thomas More Academy in Oakdale, Connecticut, played last year at Windsor H.S. in Windsor, Connecticut last season. He is hoping to have a strong winter and earn a Division I scholarship.
Zito, who played with both Connecticut Select and the Connecticut Warriors in the past, played a strong game this past weekend against Our Savior New American. Zito scored 14 points and was very active on both ends. He has some hops too.

The previous summer he had seen interest from William & Mary, Hartford, Colgate, Lehigh, Marist, Rider, Siena, Central Connecticut State, Mt. St. Mary's and SUNY-Binghamton. But right now New Hampshire is the one division one school showing interest.
Zito is a bit of a tweener on the basketball court. His size dictates that he will be a small forward on the college level, but on the high school level he is an effective inside player who has a knack for getting between people in the paint. But from what we can see in our three chances to watch John play this season, he can play on the division one level.
John has already qualified. We will have another chance to watch Zito play over the next couple of weeks.
