John Tinnon Chooses New School

John Tinnon, a 6-6 power forward who played last year at Fullerton J.C. in California, has signed a letter of intent to play at Southeastern C.C. of West Burlington, Ia., Blackhawks Head Coach Joe O'Brien told JUCO Junction/Rivalshoops.com.
Just last week on this site, we reported that Tinnon (pictured right) had decided not to return to Fullerton J.C., where he averaged 11.5 points and 10.2 rebounds per contest as a freshman in 2000-2001.

Tinnon, a native of Portland, Ore., attended Jefferson H.S., where he teamed alongside Indian Hills' Brandon Brooks to lead the squad to a state title. Tinnon and Brooks will now be on opposing sides of one of the best rivalries in junior college basketball -- Southeastern and Indian Hills.
