Jefferson ready to reopen recruitment

Davon Jefferson, the 6-foot-7, 190-pound small forward from Lynwood (CA) High School is looking forward to reopening his recruitment. After his performance this weekend at the Jayhawk Invitational, it doesn't appear that Jefferson will have any problems finding any possible suitors.
During the Jayhawk Invitational this past weekend, Jefferson displayed his freak like athletic ability. His 360 dunk wowed the crowd and caught the attention of those in attendance. During a fast break in the first half, teammate Danny Williams lobbed a pass off the backboard, and Jefferson flew through the air for the rim rocking dunk.

"Yes, I love to run up and down the court," said Jefferson. "I have always been athletic, but in practice and things like that, I just started doing tricks off of fast breaks. I didn't see anybody else doing it, so I just started to try different things.
Now that Jefferson is no longer committed to UNLV, the No. 11 ranked small forward in the class of 2005 is looking forward to reopening his recruitment.
"I am going to reopen my recruitment again, so everything is going to be wide-open," said Jefferson. "I have no idea what school I am going to attend. Nobody can talk to me yet because UNLV has not released me yet.
"I like most of the local schools," he added. "USC and UCLA are some of the schools that I might visit. The coach that recruited me at UNLV is now at Louisville, so that is another school that I really like. Louisville is a definite possibility. I have four official visits left to take, so I plan to take all four."
