Jason Chappell Stays On Bench Against Blair

Jason Chappell, a 6-9 forward from Worcester Academy in Massachusetts, was suspended for one game. He broke a team rule, according to head coach Mo Cassara. Chappell did not play in the big Worcester battle with Blair Academy yesterday at the Boy's Club Holiday tournament in New York City.
Chappell had been impressive to us the previous times we saw him. But he did not see action against the talented frontline of Blair which consisted of Luol Deng and Charlie Villanueva, two of the top juniors in the country. This made the task for Worcester's other forwards even tougher.

Cassara would not comment on the specifics of the violation but sources told us they were minor rules broken. To Cassara's credit, even in this big game, he suspended Chappell and Jason's teammate, Wes Wardrop. Chappell signed with Wisconsin this Fall.
During his recruiting process, Chappell had also considered South Carolina and Rhode Island. Earlier on in the process, Missouri, Oregon and Richmond had also expressed interest."
He has a 28 on his ACT and a 3.75 GPA. Obviously, he is a brilliant student.
