James Lang Update

What is going on with James Lang? Well, as of today, there is no official verbal commitment. It was supposed to happen last night. It hasn't, as of this story, according to several sources close to Lang.
James Lang, the 6-10 center from Central Park Christian in Birmingham, Ala., was supposed to give a verbal commitment to head coach Rick Pitino last night and Lang did confirm that. But Lang has to straighten out some family issues and needs more time to discuss his future decision, according to several sources. He remains a heavy lean to Louisville. But Alabama and UAB are not out of the picture.

RivalsHoops.com spoke to Lang last night about his future. He said: "I really liked the school on my visit. My mom liked it too. I had a good talk with coach (Rick) Pitino. And Louisville has shown me a lot of interest over the past month."
But apparently, his mom would like her son to think more about his decision. And Lang will, according to sources close to this outstanding inside big man.
Lang is likely to be elevated in the top five of the RivalsHoops.com ratings this week. He was perhaps the best inside big man RivalsHoops.com saw this summer.
Last night, Lang also addressed the NBA rumors too. "If I am told I will be in the top ten then I will think about it (NBA draft)," Lang said. "But I don't see that happening. I am just focusing on college and how I can be a better player this season."
