James Ball Has Major Interest
James Ball, a stocky 6-1, 190 pound point guard from Iowa Western C.C. in Council Bluffs, Ia., is taking a look at several Division I programs this summer.
IWCC Asst. Coach Trent Lovewell informed JUCO Junction/Rivalshoops.com that Rutgers, Southern Illinois, Northern Iowa and Creighton are the programs who have expressed the most interest in Ball thus far.

A native of Davenport, Ia., Ball averaged 2.3 assists per game splitting time in the backcourt with Bryan Buchanan (IUPUI) and Tyrone McMath. This year, Ball is projected as the team's started at the point guard slot.
"He's a strong and athletic point guard," Lovewell said.
Ball will attend a pair of fall jamborees with his Iowa Western teammates -- Jerry Mullen's K.C. Jamboree on Oct. 5 and Rick Ball's Central Missouri State Jamboree on Oct. 14.
