Jackson names six schools

Rivals.com will look hard at the prospects in the 2010 class during the coming travel team circuit, but one sophomore combo guard already on the radar is 6-foot-4, 175-pound combo guard Chad Jackson of Ashland (Ky.) Rose Hill Christian High School.
A lengthy athlete with the explosiveness to dictate the action off the dribble, Jackson also has the attention of some of the top college programs in the country. Xavier and West Virginia are the two programs who have offered, and Kentucky, Louisville, Indiana and North Carolina are high on Jackson's list.

Jackson, however, is just in the beginning stages of his recruitment.
"None of the schools standout," said Jackson. "I really haven't thought about it yet. When I do pick a school, though, I'm going to look at academics of course. The coaching staff is important and I want to win a national championship for sure. A good relationship with the coach means a lot. I want to play for a coach I like and who can get me to the next level."
A do everything combo guard, Jackson manned the point guard position early in the season for Rose Hill. Later in the season, Jackson moved off the ball, and his freedom to score the ball is one factor that has improved the play of his 16-10 team.
"We've come a long way since the beginning of the year," he said. "Other players are stepping up and taking pressure off of Dakota (Euton) and me."
Jackson, who is averaging 20 points, ten rebounds and four assists per game, will run with the Ohio Basketball Club on the travel team circuit.
