Jackson Has Decision

Sometime around 1 PM ET, one of the better wing players available this spring, Johnnie Jackson of Fairley H.S. in Memphis, Tenn., is expected to make Boston College fans happy with his announcement.
Jackson, who said he was mulling a decision between UAB, Massachusetts, Providence, and Boston College, is likely to choose the Eagles, according to sources close to Jackson.

Jackson, a 6-5, 190 pound swingman, had UAB Head Coach Mike Anderson in his home on Apr. 16. As for Boston College, Jackson said that the Eagles [in addition to the Blazers] had offered a scholarship. He visited B.C. the weekend of Apr. 26-28. "I really liked that visit a lot," said Jackson. "I have a decision. I already told the coaches."
Our sources tell us the has given the nod to Boston College.
Jackson averaged 23 points and eight rebounds per game as a senior, earning all-state and all-city acclaim for his efforts.
RivalsHoops.com saw Jackson play three times this season at a tournament in New York. It was then when Boston College first scouted Jackson. They started recruiting him last December and made the offer too. It appears that Boston College has picked up a top 100 player.
