Jackson down to three

There was no one playing better basketball during the Las Vegas tournaments than five-star prospect Joe Jackson. On Monday Jackson cut his list to three schools.
Jackson, a dynamic 5-foot-11, 160-pound point guard from Memphis White Station High School, is down to Kansas, Memphis and Tennessee.

"I just felt it was time to cut it down," said Jackson. "It's getting closer and closer to that time."
That time Jackson is referring to is the early signing period in November when he plans to sign.
Jackson said all three schools are equal at this point, and he plans to officially visit Tennessee and Kansas. He is already well versed on Memphis, living so close to the school.
Whichever school he feels he can have the biggest impact at early in his career will likely be the deciding factor when he chooses between the three.
"I'm looking for the school where I can start or play a lot of minutes and make the most impact," he said.
Jackson is currently the No. 18 ranked prospect in the Rivals150.
