Jackson Could Make Trip

Marcel Jackson, a burly 6-9, 265 pound power forward/center from San Jose City College in San Jose, Calif., could make a trip to Penn State soon.
JUCO Junction/Rivalshoops.com caught up with San Jose Asst. Coach Blake Spiering this week, and he said that Jackson could be heading east to make a trip to the Big 10 school in the very near future.

Earlier this winter, Illinois and other programs came out to evaluate Jackson, who hails from Santa Cruz, Calif.
In addition to the Nittany Lion program, Spiering said that Robert Morris and Morehead State have called San Jose to express an interest in recruiting Jackson this spring.
Jackson had an up and down sophomore year, averaging roughly seven points and five rebounds per game. While he has a massive frame, Jackson is sometimes prone to foul trouble that limits his effectiveness.
Jackson plans on signing this spring, and we will keep you posted on his recruitment in the coming weeks, so stay tuned.
