Georgia Tech and UAB are the big movers in the updated Rivals.com 2009 team recruiting rankings.
Coach Paul Hewitt already had a No. 9-ranked recruiting class, but the addition of elite post player Derrick Favors to the Georgia Tech recruiting class pushes the Yellow Jackets into the No. 4 spot in the rankings.
While Georgia Tech added an elite big man, UAB lost an elite big man with the decommitment of DeMarcus Cousins. UAB fell out of the top 25 with the loss of the No. 2-ranked prospect in the Rivals150.
With UAB out, Pittsburgh moves into the No. 25 spot in the rankings. Five-star prospect Dante Taylor headlines Pittsburgh's four-man class.
Villanova added five-star shooting guard Dominic Cheek to its No. 3 ranked class, but the addition of Cheek was not enough to move the Wildcats ahead of Texas with its two elite wing prospects Jordan Hamilton and Avery Bradley.
