Jack Jenkins: Has Short List

Jack Jenkins, a 6-6, 220-pound forward from Proctor Academy in New Hampshire, is an interesting prospect for mid division one schools. Jenkins can certainly play on this level and be a very good college basketball player.

Jenkins already has showed many observors that he has the smarts when he possesses the rock inside the paint. Jenkins performed this week at the National AAU tournament inside the Walt Disney Wide World of Sports complex.

Jenkins, who averaged 26 points and 11 rebounds last season, told us that he might wait until the spring to make a decision. "I have a list of California, Iowa, Boston University, William & Mary,Manhattan, and Massachusetts," Jenkins said. "But I don't have any visits planned and I don't have a leader."

Jenkins said he remains open despite his short list. "I am going to listen to any school that calls," Jenkins said. "I am open."
