Jabri Abdur-Rahim on busy July, upcoming visits

Jabri Abdur-Rahim, a class of 2020 wing, has not lacked college interest or offers. Heading into his sophomore high school season, Abdur-Rahim recapped his busy July and has also set an unofficial visit to a blueblood program.

Attending Seton Hall Prep in New Jersey, Abdur-Rahim has had the chance to travel the nation during his upbringing thanks to his NBA bloodlines. He holds offers from Florida, Seton Hall, Ohio State and Texas A&M (where his uncle is an assistant coach) as well as more recent scholarships from California, Michigan State, UConn, Kansas and Arizona.

Did any of the new offers catch his eye?

“Not necessarily, I am happy with all of them,” he said. “Maybe Cal because my dad went there so that was a cool little moment.

“It's really a blessing that all the hard work that I put in is starting pay off, but I can't let all this get to my head, I have to continue to improve my game.”

A visit is potentially in the making to Villanova this fall. But Abdur-Rahim will first take an unofficial visit to Kentucky on September 1.

“That's real cool that such a historic program is showing interest,” he said of Kentucky. “I'm excited to continue the relationship.”
