J.R. Smith Commits To UNC
J.R. Smith, a 6-foot-5, 180-pound small forward from St. Benedict's Prep in Clarksburg NJ., has given a commitment to Roy Williams and the North Carolina Tarheels. It was believed that Smith would take several official visits before making his final decision, but that is no longer the case.
It should come as no surprise that Smith has given a commitment to Coach Williams and the Tarheels. He has openly stated that UNC was his dream school, but many believed he would accept the offer once the scholarship was offered.

It took a little bit longer than expected, but Smith has accepted the offer and will spend his college days on the UNC campus.
