J.J. Redick Sparks Win At National AAU Tourney

LAKE BUENA VISTA, FLORIDA -- J.J. Redick reminded the many coaches and fans in the audience of what a great offensive player he is. Redick drained four three-pointers and finished the game with 20 points to lead the Boo Williams Summer team to a 94-76 victory over a very competitive Houston Select team in a pool matchup at the National AAU tournament.
Redick provided his usual quick release, smooth delivery and perfect stroke for the Boo Williams team today. His three-pointers also came at times when the Houston Select would challenge the lead Boo Williams team had.

Redick hit most of his long distance jumpers from the right side too, sometimes off perfect passes from point guard Johnny Gilchrist. Gilchrist finished with 15 points of his own while Elton Brown pitched in with 19 points.
Dwight Jones led the Houston Select with 24 points while forward Stephen Briggs continued to impress by scoring 17 points. Briggs is now being recruited by many top division one schools. More on Briggs later on this website.
