Ivan Harris Opens Eyes At ABCD

Not many in the East or the West know much about Ivan Harris, a scoring wing player from Springfield South High School in Ohio. But after this ABCD camp, many have to agree he is one of the best players in the 2003 class.
Harris had 19 points and five rebounds in the first game and another 14 points in the second game yesterday in Teaneck, New Jersey. Ohio State assistant coach Paul Biancardi was nursing his prize recruit yesterday at the ABCD camp. Judging by his facial expressions, he appeared to be pretty happy the way Harris was performing.

And he should. Harris beat up some solid competition and showcased some top skills inside and outside. Harris dropped in a couple of three-pointers yesterday and wasn't afraid to bang away on the glass for loose balls.
Harris, a terrific small forward in the class of 2003, is already committed to the Ohio State basketball program. Harris made that decision after he watched a basketball game between Ohio State and Nebraska.
Harris also considered Michigan State. Harris visited both schools. Harris, who averaged 20 points and nine rebounds last year, and goes about 6-7 and 200 pounds.
