While swingman Robert Vaden gets much of the ink for the Spiece Top Prospects squad (and deservedly so), his perimeter sidekick Courtney Lee is a fine prospect in his own right.
The 6-foot-3, 184-pound shooting guard from Pike H.S. in Indianapolis, Ind., played a terrific game as the Spiece squad shellacked the Compton Magic.

Lee scored 25 points, displaying good athleticism, decision making and midrange shooting skills. He's a player who is seemingly always around the basketball, although he seemed reluctant to shoot the ball from downtown in the game we watched.
Following his strong showing, Lee told RivalsHoops.com that he has a strong mutual interest in Xavier, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan State, Oklahoma, Georgetown, Notre Dame and Bradley.
Of that lot, only Bradley has offered. Indiana is the only school he has visited on an unofficial basis, as he took in a couple of Hoosier basketball games this past season.
When asked to name the schools he likes the best early on, he cited Oklahoma, Georgetown and Notre Dame.
"I like Oklahoma's style of play," he said. "Georgetown has a great graduation rate, while Notre Dame has both of those mixed together."
If Lee continues to play as well as he did on Friday night at the Run N Slam, it's likely that he will have several big offers come the summer.
As a junior at Pike, Lee averaged 12.6 points, 6.2 rebounds, 2.7 assists and four steals per game on a loaded squad. He said he carries a 2.5 GPA and scored an 820 on his first crack on the SAT, but added that he plans on sitting for the test again.
Lee said he has been invited to the Nike All-American Camp in Indianapolis in July, and then will spend the rest of the month touring with his Spiece squad on the summer hoops circuit. Expected pit stops for Spiece include the adidas Big Time Tournament in Las Vegas and the AAU Nationals in Florida.
