Its Really Just Two Schools For Boggan

This is an opinion, an only the opinion of Mike Sullivan...
Let's be honest. Mario Boggan is Florida's to lose. And for several reasons. Florida has established a good relationship with Boggan and even Mario has admitted he is leaning that way.

But the other schools on his list are longshots right now for two different reasons. Indiana is a longshot because of where the university has its campus -- in the midwest and not in the south. And Boggan would prefer being in the south.
(Denny Conroy spoke to Mario last night his update is posted on this site)
However, for those who think he is going to land at North Carolina, think again. It's a longshot. Why a longshot? (Jason Fraser is pictured right)
Here's why -- Jason Fraser, Torin Francis, Shavlik Randolph, and Sean May. It's likely the Tar Heels will wait out the decisions of these players before looking elsewhere.
Boggan played well when we watched him two weekends ago at the Blue Cross/Blue Shield of North Carolina Tournament of Champions event. He was smooth along the baseline and showed more agility too inside with his moves.
The question for some Tar Heel fans is how serious is North Carolina in pursuing Boggan? Only Mario knows for sure.
But if I was a betting man, I would wager North Carolina waits out the decisions from the above names before any other targets are considered seriously. And Boggan would be one of those considerations popping up later in the recruiting picture.
Then again, I have been wrong before. But I pretty certain I am not wrong about this one.
