The third time is the charm for Will Harris. The 6-foot-6, 230-pound forward from New York is headed to the ACC, according to his head coach Jason Smith at Brewster Academy in New Hampshire. Harris signed his National Letter of Intent this afternoon.

After committing to both Connecticut and Nebraska, Harris is making Virginia his final stop. The three-star forward inked with Dave Leitao's program on Tuesday afternoon.
"He developed a relationship with Dave Leitao and that was the big thing for him. He wanted to have that with the head coach," Smith said. "Almost since the day he de-committed from UConn, Virginia was as aggressive as any school out there."
Since deciding to look outside of UConn, Smith said UVa assistant Rob Lanier came to Brewster to make the first initial contact and then it was all Leitao, a former UConn coach.
"After Leitao came down for the practices, Will went down there and took a visit and developed a relationship with everyone, most importantly the head coach," Smith said. "Will's excited about it. They have a new staff and a new facility next spring. They are trying to build from the ground up and that's attractive to Will."
Harris is a big part of the rebuilding effort for the Cavaliers. They've added two Rivals150 players in Jamil Tucker and Solomon Tat and Alabama big man Johnny Lett. Harris is a jack of all trades player and should help Virginia from day one.
"The thing I've been most impressed with Will is his work ethic and his shooting ability since he's been here," Smith said. "He can score the ball but now he's shooting it really well but still doing all of the things that he does so well like taking his man to the post."
Harris and his Brewster teammates open their season on Wednesday against Lee Academy from Maine.
