Is Hansbrough Still Visiting Kansas

Tyler Hansbrough, the 6-foot-8, 205-pound power forward from Poplar Bluff High School in Poplar Bluff, MO., was scheduled to visit the University of Kansas this weekend for Midnight Madness, but those plans have changed. It is not yet known if Hansbrough will reschedule another visit to Kansas, but it appears that he is still very much interested in the Jayhawks.

“Tyler will not be visiting Kansas this weekend, but it’s not for the reason that many people think,” Dr. Hansbrough, Tyler’s father said. “He is still very interested in Kansas, but he has a chemistry test that he really needs to focus on and his high school has a big football game this weekend against a rival school. Both teams are currently undefeated.

“I’m almost certain that Tyler will reschedule his visit to Kansas, but I don’t really know when that will take place,” he added. “A lot of people think that Tyler isn’t visiting for several reasons, but they are wrong. He will spend a lot of time studying for a big test and will attend the football game.”

Hansbrough has already visited Florida, Missouri and Illinois.
