Irish Eyes Smile Again

One of the faster rising names in the Class of 2003 is shooting guard Colin Falls, a 6-4, 195 pound shooting guard from Loyola Academy in Wilamette, Ill. And the Irish of Notre Dame caught him in time. Falls committed to Notre Dame today.
Falls had been one of the better scorers here at the Peach Jam, helping the Illinois Warriors compile a 3-1 record entering the final round of pool play.

Falls told the Insiders Report/Rivalshoops.com that he has been offered scholarships by DePaul and St. Louis. The Irish offered over the past 48 hours after watching Colin play his backside off.
Several other high majors were evaluating him this summer, including Michigan State, Minnesota, Northwestern, Wisconsin, Stanford, Boston College, and Marquette.
He had taken unofficial trips already to Northwestern, Notre Dame, Marquette and DePaul.
A terrific long range three point shooter, Falls averaged 24 points, 5.5 rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block per game this past season at Loyola Academy.
As productive as he is in the classroom, Falls is also equally proficient in the classroom, where he said he carries a 3.8 GPA and has scored a 26 on the ACT.
Falls will wrap up the summer by attending the AAU Super Showcase and the Tom Tietze's Hoop Tournament in Kansas with Larry Butler's Illinois Warriors program.
