Irick Gets More Calls Following ABCD

Willie Irick, an active 6'6'', 215 pound power forward from Teaneck High School in Teaneck, New Jersey, is hearing from a wide range of schools.
Irick, who displayed some face-up skills at the ABCD camp, has heard from Rutgers, Washington, Depaul, Kent State, Western Kentucky, and USC. Previously, Connecticut, Hofstra and Central Connecticut State had recruited this young player from the annual home of the ABCD camp. So far, he hasn't received any scholarship offers.

"I'm real open as far as recruiting goes," said Irick. "I don't know about visits yet."
Irick also competed at the Super Showcase in Orlando with Riverside Church.
"I missed the Peach Jam because of tutoring," said Irick. "I'm taking tutoring right now to raise my grades."
Irick will participate in the Five Star Camp at Honesdale at the end of the month.
Irick averaged 18 points, 12 rebounds, and four blocks this past season for Teaneck.
Irick carries a 2.4 scholastic GPA. He will take the SAT for the first time in October. Irick did tell us he may reclassify to a junior this season as well.
