Iowa wing picks Northwestern

On Monday, Mike Gesell of the All-Iowa Attack picked Iowa of the Big Ten. Tuesday, summer teammate Kale Abrahamson picked his own Big Ten program.
Throughout the recruiting process, the 6-foot-7 wing had been looking to find a perfect blend of academics and athletics. One school in Evanston, Ill. fit the bill.

"Yup, it's Northwestern," Abrahamson texted Rivals.com.
A big time student as well as shot-maker from West Des Moines (Iowa) Valley, Abrahamson said that he found the perfect blend of the academic, athletic and social experiences that he was looking for.
"I picked Northwestern because it fit everything about me," Abrahamson told Rivals.com. "Academically, socially and athletically I feel like I have a chance to have a great experience."
Currently ranked #119 in the class of 2012, Abrahamson is the Wildcats second commitment of the past few days. Over the weekend, Minnesota wing Sanjay Lumpkin committed after a visit.
The duo joins big man Alex Olah to make up Northwestern's early recruiting class.
