Iowa Big man still looking for a school

Colin Lien, a 6'10'' 235 pound center from Columbus High School in Waterloo, Iowa, is a member of the class of 2003 who is still looking for a school.

Lien had received interest from a number of different schools, among them Richmond, St. Joseph's, Rice, Northern Iowa, and some other Missouri Valley programs, but many of these schools have received commitments from other post players. After fielding some serious overtures early, Lien decided to wait until late to sign.

Lien possesses a good frame and he runs the floor well. Last summer, playing with the Midwest Squires and coach James Houston, Lien showed that he was fleet enough a foot to get out and run with speedy guards Ramone Penny and Carlton Reed. Colin has a soft shooting touch.

Lien averaged 14.3 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 3.7 blocks at Columbus this past season.

Lien carries a 3.4 GPA in the classroom. He has gained a qualifying score on the ACT.
