Intriguing Alexander to West Virginia

Coach Kevin Keatts at Hargrave Military Academy in Chatham, Va., calls Joe Alexander one of the more intriguing players he has ever coached. Alexander, a 6-foot-6, 185-pound small forward will take his ever developing game to West Virginia next season.

“Yes, Joe committed to West Virginia,” said Coach Keatts. “He is very athletic and can step out and hit the three. He is one of the more intriguing prospects that we have had here. He can put it on the floor and shoot it. He has a chance, when it is all said and done, to be a 6-foot-8 shooting guard.”

Alexander chose West Virginia over Tulane.

Coach Keatts also noted that one of his other forwards Shane Clark should have a decision between Maryland and Villanova by the end of this week.

“He should have a decision some time this week. He has two very good programs in Maryland and Villanova to choose between.”
