Interest Increases After Bronsons Nike Camp

Charles Bronson, a 6-foot-9, 225-pound power forward from Lutheran Christian Academy in Philadelphia, Pa. is hearing from more top programs following his performance at the Nike All-America Camp in Indianapolis this past week.
"I had a really good camp," he said from the 3 Stripes Classic in Neptune, N.J. "Guess that's why more schools are calling."

Bronson said he heard from Texas and Wake Forest recently who join a wide list of schools that includes Buffalo, Colorado, DePaul, Duquesne, East Carolina, Fresno State, George Washington, LSU, Marquette, Massachusetts, Ohio State, Oklahoma State, Penn State, Saint Jospeh's and VCU.
"There's more schools too," Bronson added. "My mom, Coach (Darryl) Scofield and I will cut the list before school starts."
Bronson, a native of Norristown, Pa., in the Philly suburbs will be returning to Darryl Scofield's LCA program for the second season after starting out at Norristown High School. He was re-classified as a junior for this past season where he averaged 18 points and 11 rebounds.
Bronson said he hasn't taken the SAT yet but fully expects to be O.K. academically. This summer he's working to increase his athleticism around the post.
