Indiana grabs another freshman

There's still plenty of guys left on the table for Indiana in 2011, 2012 and even 2013. In 2014, though, Tom Crean and the Hoosiers are cleaning up. Sunday, Indiana added their second member of the class of 2014 when freshman Trey Lyles decided to end his recruitment at a young age.
Because of his young age, he hasn't been seen by many scouts. However, he's highly regarded locally and looked to be an athletic, long and versatile forward when Rivals.com had the chance to watch him during the spring at the Next Level Invitational in Frisco, Texas.

A student at Indianapolis (Ind.) Arsenal Tech, Lyles joins point guard James Blackmon, Jr. in Indiana's 2014 recruiting class.
"It was something he felt very adamant about and has felt this way for awhile," Lyles' father told Mike Pegram of Peegs.com. "Myself and his mom had been playing the devils advocate in reference to saying 'it's early, you don't have to' -- but he made it very clear that he wanted to attend IU and he wanted to play for Coach Crean. So this is why he made the decision today."
