In-state offers for Sullivan

Frankie Sullivan, one of the top guards in the class of 2008, is playing some strong basketball for (28-4) R.C. Hatch High School in Uniontown, Ala., as they look to make a run in the playoffs. Sullivan, 6-foot-1, 185-pounds, already has two in-state offers, but his favorite school resides outside of his home state.
"Alabama, UAB, Florida and Oklahoma are the four schools I like that are recruiting me hard," said Sullivan. "Alabama and UAB have both offered.

"My favorite school, though, is North Carolina. I like the program they run with the up tempo offense and aggressive defense."
When asked about a favorite out of the schools that are presently recruiting him, Sullivan named Florida for the same reason that he named North Carolina-up tempo style of play.
Averaging 22 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists per game, Sullivan has been watched this season by head coaches from Alabama and UAB. An assistant from Oklahoma watched him play this season as well.
Last summer, coaches got a good look at Sullivan at the Nike All American Camp and with his AAU team the Alabama Lasers, whom he will run with again this summer.
In the summer, Sullivan runs the point for the Lasers, but for his high school team he plays on the wing.
"I consider myself a point guard, and I'm being recruited as a point guard," he said. "It's okay playing the two. I can deal with it until the summer. Next year, I might even have to play the three for my high school team."
Frankie Sullivan scouting report:
Sullivan is a physical combo guard who loves to attack the rim and is an extremely tough match up in one on one situations. Good with either hand on the drive and finish, he is also a threat from the outside. Rebounds the ball well and has the potential to be a good defender. His court vision and distributing of the ball have room for improvement.
