visits as he can before signing on the dotted line. But he first has to figure
out where he'll visit, and upcoming in-home visits from head coaches will go
far in determining that.
Scheduled over the next two weeks are home visits from Dennis' final four
schools: South Florida, UNC-Wilmington, Wichita State, and Arkansas-Little
Rock. All have offered. Other programs recruiting Dennis include Arizona State, Kansas State, Oregon, Oklahoma, Texas A&M Colorado State, North Texas, New Mexico, Rice, SMU, and TCU.
"I want to see what they say first," said Dennis. "Then I'll schedule my
official visits."
While he doesn't have a clear-cut leader, one school that he definitely holds a
strong interest in is South Florida, who could be inches ahead of the others
since they play in a major conference such as C-USA.
"They just got a new coach," said Dennis. "He's said that I'll be 'his boy'
when I come and the top guy in his recruiting class. It'd be good to play in a
strong conference like that - it's a good opportunity."
But the other three schools aren't far behind according to Dennis.
On UNC-Wilmington: "At first I was their number two guy, but now they're
telling me I'm number one."
On Arkansas-Little Rock and Wichita State: "They both say I'm their number one
guy right now. It makes me feel good that I'm wanted there."
Dennis noted that all four schools are recruiting him as a combo guard, with
plans to use him extensively at the point. Dennis, who is already academically
qualified, maintains that he will sign in the fall signing period before the
season starts. Be sure to stay tuned to RivalsHoops.com for the latest news in
