Illinois Grabs Junior
Warren Carter, a 6-9, 215-pound forward from Lake Highlands High School in Dallas, Texas, committed to Illinois today, according to several sources.
Carter, a junior that has decent range along the perimeter, had several major schools inquiring about him. Carter though is a player who will make most of his living in the low post.
Carter also considered Texas, Iowa, Baylor, SMU, and Texas A&M. He had taken a visit to Illinois. Carter then was coming close to a decision. Rumors of his commitment had leaked all over the internet and now today Carter committed.
