Ibekwe Has Many Offers
Ekene Ibekwe, a 6-8, 190 pound combo forward from Carson High School in Carson, CA, told us yesterday at the ABCD camp that his list is short but he is still open.
Ibekwe told us that Arizona, Southern Cal and Maryland have offered him a free ride. "I am also interested in Kansas and Kentucky," Ibekwe said. "I plan on taking more visits in the Fall. I have four more left."

Ibekwe said his top list also includes North Carolina and UCLA. Schools that were on his list in the past include Illinois, Michigan, Duke, Georgetown, Oregon, Louisville, Georgia, and UNLV.
Ibekwe plays with the California Team Select and the H Squad. His summer schedule includes the adidas ABCD camp and the Big Time Tournament.
Ibekwe averaged 19.7 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, three steals and three blocks per game as a junior this past season. He's also a good student with a 3.2 GPA and a 900 SAT score.
"I will probably take four more visits," Ekene said. "I liked my first visit. It was to Arizona. But I want to see more schools before I make a decision."
