Hunter Receives Plenty Of Phone Calls

Chris Hunter, a center/power forward from West Side High School in Gary, Indiana, still says he is wide open. Hunter showed some more confidence in his offensive game over the past two weeks, especially at the AAU Showcase and National AAU tournament inside the Wide World of Sports Complex on the Disney grounds.
Hunter (pictured at right), a mobile 6-11, 200 pound prospect has a host of high major programs seriously recruiting him. Hunter mentioned Ohio State, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Missouri, Michigan, Purdue, Seton Hall, North Carolina, Syracuse, and Illinois. "I am pretty much open right now," Hunter said. "I have not ruled out any school."

Hunter has a lot of physical skills. He runs the floor well, blocks shots, and rebounds. His offensive game is still developing but after seeing Hunter for about the 10th time over the past two summers, he can play high division one basketball. Hunter has not taken any unofficial visits yet.
Hunter has pretty good skills for a big man, including the ability to put the ball on the floor and draw contact. On top of that, he's ultra mobile and is very quick from North to South.
As a junior, Hunter averaged 17 points, 10 rebounds, two assists and three blocks as a junior at Westside. He said he has a 2.0 GPA.
